With at least 2ml of breastmilk, (1) I preserve your milk, (2) I then process it into a powder texture, (3) I mix the powder mixture into 2 part epoxy and then (4) I cast it into your desired keepsake piece. 

The whole process will take roughly 5-8 weeks. However I do offer priority order processing, if this is added to your purchase, your ring will be ready in 3-4 weeks. 

Within 48 hours of receiving your order, I will be sending you a Mama’s Milk Kit. In this kit is a pre-paid box, with 2 breastmilk bags, labels and instructions on how to send me the milk. 
I need approximately 2ml of milk per keepsake piece. If you send more than this, I will preserve the milk and any leftover preserved milk will be kept for up to 12 months, in the event you’d like to order another piece.

2. Within 24 hours of placing your order, I will send out the Milk Collection Kit. 
3. You will receive the kit within 3-5 business days depending on location. 
4. You follow the kit instructions and send me your milk. 
5. When I receive the milk kit, I will preserve the milk within 24 hours. 
6. The preservation process takes 12 hours. 
7. Once the milk has preserved, I use a mortar to grind into a fine powder. 
8. Within 48 hours of receiving the milk, I will cast it into your desired keepsake piece, using 2 part resin. 
9. Once casted, the curing process takes 1-2 days depending on amount of keepsake pieces. 
10. Once fully cured, I will package the ring and prepare shipment to you. 
11. Once the shipment label has been created, your keepsake will be dropped off at my local USPS. 
12. Then depending on your desired shipping, it will arrive in 2-5 days. 

Detailed instructions will be provided after your order is placed. But if you are shipping, you will need to place at least 2ml per piece ordered in a breastmilk bag, then double bag to ensure no leaks.

You will get labeling instructions once you place your order. Your milk will labeled with your name and order number. It will never be mixed with any other milk!

Yes, Absolutely! Since the milk is not being consumed and goes through the preservation process, it does not matter how old the milk is.

Careful treatment of your breastmilk jewelry is important. When practical, avoid exposing your jewelry to prolonged, direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations. Always remove your breastmilk jewelry before going into a sauna or when tanning.

Your breastmilk stone will be extremely hard, but this does not mean it will be scratch-proof. You can scratch the surface with a sharp edge, so be mindful of your jewelry when handling abrasive items. Additionally, if you layer your jewelry, rubbing of the pieces can cause wear.

Remove your breastmilk jewelry before you bathe or shower, before you wash your hands or apply hand sanitizer, and before you go swimming. The buildup of residue and chemicals added to your water supply can dull the sheen of your breastmilk stone.

Avoid exposing your breastmilk jewelry to harsh chemicals. Alcohol, while useful for cleaning the metal parts of jewelry, can potentially damage the surface of your breastmilk jewelry stone. Avoid exposure to perfume because it is often alcohol-based. Oils from your skin can be harmful as well and dull the sheen of your breastmilk stone.

Clean your breastmilk jewelry using cool water and a mild soap. Polish it with a soft, clean rag. And never use jewelry cleaners or harsh chemicals
